Serena Paris | Senior Model | Downtown Bryan, Texas
One of my goals this year has been to take more chances even if my anxiety is telling me all the reasons not to. My daily mantra has been: I AM FEARLESS. I AM BRAVE. Whenever I am feeling unsure about something I have to take a step back and tell myself I can do this, there's no reason I couldn't. I have recently joined this amazing group of creative entrepreneurs with the Rising Tide Society. A few months ago a talented make-up artist from my local tribe in College Station, TX asked if any of us photographers would like to photograph her amazing work she did with a model, Serena Paris. So of course, my first thought was "this would be so exciting" then my anxiety had to speak up and say "don't even think about it". However, I didn't let my anxiety win, I called her right away and set up a plan! I am so happy I did, because she is stunning plus Leanna with Naturally Flawless did such a beautiful job! I am so excited to share this impromptu session! Never doubt your own abilities, you can do anything if you let yourself try.
I met with Serena Paris in the historical downtown Bryan, Texas for our session. She brought a trunk full of different outfits to wear and I was so excited to see which ones she chose to wear! Her first outfit was an adorable white and pink romper which she wore with various gold accessories. We walked around main street stopping at different spots. We then came across the Saint Andrew's Episcopal church. It's "gothic-revival" type architecture was the perfect backdrop for her second outfit which was a deep blue gown fit for a pageant queen designed by Angela and Alison. We took a more editorial approach with her gown option. I have found that I really love this type of photography and editing. If you are wanting your photographs to be more editorial, I would be so happy to work with you to achieve your own unique session.
